PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an edge gap sealing device for a cover part of an automobile sliding roof, having a hollow seal and obtaining an excellent seal for waterproofness while compensating dimensional difference and unevenness even when the dimensional difference and unevenness in an edge gap is large. SOLUTION: An inner surface part 8 is provided at the outer edge of a free edge strip 5. This inner surface part 8 curves the free edge strip 5 to form a hollow chamber 7 and is appropriately fixed to' an opposed face 9 of a frame body 3 by a fastening deformed strip 10 fitted into a fastening groove 11 of the frame body 3 so as to adjust the width of the hollow chamber 7.
