PURPOSE:To shorten the time for the computation of power flow by using a training simulator when a phase-shifting transformer exists. CONSTITUTION:The initial value of a phase angle for the computation of a power flow is computed by a direct-current method while a phase-shifting transformer is simulated simply. The phase difference between a point (p) and a point (q) is treated as a voltage source. In addition, in order to treat it easily, the voltage source is converted into a current source and simulated simply, and a voltage phase angle is computed. The voltage phase angle is used as an initial value for the computation of the power flow. Thereby, it is possible to shorten the time for the computation of the power flow by using a training simulator.
