PURPOSE:To make it possible to perform the measurement of the shape of a spectacle frame and the measurement of a template with a single apparatus by turning frame grips within a plane formed by the grips, and holding the center of the groove of a lens frame within the measuring plane at the central position of the frame grips. CONSTITUTION:Frame grips 2002, 2005, 2008 and 2011 are associatively moved and pulled with constant torque springs. The frame grips are pulled in the direction of a center arm. When the frame is held with the grips 2004, 2005, 2008 and 2011, the lens frame is held with the forces directed to the approximately geometrical center of the lens frame in three directions. The central position of the frame is held at the intermediate point of the reference point by the frame grips. The grips 2008 and 2011 are turned within the plane formed with the ridge lines of the four-frame grips 2013, 2015, 1017 and 2019.
