PURPOSE: To easily perform operation of fixing a spectacle frame to a device by providing a fixing means of fixing the spectacle frame locked against energization by an energizing means based on a spectacle frame shape measuring start signal by a signal generating means. ;CONSTITUTION: A probe vertically movable with its moving amount detectable is mounted on a probe part, and when measured a lens frame shape, by bringing into contact with a rim front surface, a position in a vertical direction of the rim front surface is detected. From a data of this rim front surface and from a data in a vertical direction of a V groove, a rim thickness in the lens frame total periphery is measured. Based on a measuring start signal, a solenoid 2064 is operated, and when a retaining plate 2061 is pressed against a bar 2065, a brake rubber 2062 is brought into contact with a center arm 2002, to fix the center arm 2002 and a right/left arm 2006, 2009 moved to be associated with the center arm 2002, so as to fix a spectacle frame.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1996,JPO
