PURPOSE: To easily and certainly set molding conditions by inputting known data to a controller in such a case that mold data is unclear to automatically set the molding conditions and setting injection pressure and a specific item according to a preset condition and altering injection pressure according to the result after molding to determine an injection speed to perform molding. ;CONSTITUTION: The known data of a molding material to be used is inputted to a controller. The controller sets fundamental molding conditions such a temp. conditions or the like on the basis of a preliminarily inputted data base and subsequently sets an injection speed to one speed value on a high speed side and the injection start position of a screw to the most retreat position to pressure value on a low pressure side. Next, from the result after molding, injection pressure is increased to proper magnitude and, when a good product is obtained, an injection stroke is calculated and a set cushion stroke is added thereto to calculate a weighing value and an average injection speed is calculated from the injection stroke and these calculated values are set to the controller.
