PURPOSE:To surely manage loss cards by printing out contents of a note data storage part by a printing means at the time of input of transaction stop indication from an input means. CONSTITUTION:If a close key 20 is inputted because of error of issue of the note cards, a receipt where the register result recorded is issued, and thereafter, the amount of money of goods and the number of the note cards for the occurrence of error which are stored in an abnormal card storage buffer 26 are accumulated in denomination areas of a loss card memory 225 of a denomination table 22, and the number of registered cards is accumulated in the area of loss cards of a totalization memory 24. The value of a loss card counter 30, the classification of the loss card report, a handling shop code, a register number, a period of availability, money amount data, a receipt sequential number, etc., as note data written on the note cards are printed on the loss card report. This loss card report is stuck to a magnetic card where write error occurs, thereby recognizing the error condition related to issue of the note card.
