PURPOSE: To provide an air spring height adjusting device having a connecting rod mechanism which does not allow vertical displacement to be affected by relative displacement between a car body and a truck when the truck is moved back and forth, and side-to-side, and is turned as a bogie. ;CONSTITUTION: One end of a connecting rod 6 capable of being adjusted is connected to the lever 5 of a height adjusting valve 4 installed onto a car body 1 in such a way as to be freely bent in all directions, the other end of the connecting rod 6 is connected to the center section of the central link member 7 of a connecting rod link mechanism in such a way as to be freely bent in all directions, and the device comprises support arms 13 and 14 provided for mount seats attached to a bogie frame connected to both the ends of the central link member via equal length both end link members 8 and 9 in such a way as to be freely bent in all directions. This constitution thereby enables the device to be constituted in a small space, and also to correspond to a truck for a rolling stock, which includes a current collector beam consisting of a link mechanism enabling the adjusting valve 4 to follow up only the fluctuation of the car body 1.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1994,JPO&Japio
