PURPOSE: To prevent the occurrence of local pore water pressures and reaching of soil to below underground structure by a method in which solidified walls are formed on both sides of an underground structure without the needs for large-scale equipment and operation spaces. ;CONSTITUTION: A vertical pit 7 is formed under the ground by a borer 3, and a jet device for a solidifying agent to harden the ground is inserted to a given position 11 into the pit 7. While jetting a solidifying agent from the device 6, the device 6 is pulled up from the position 11 to the ground's surface along the pit 7. Also, while moving the borer 3 by a given distance to the longitudinal direction of the underground structure 2, the jetting operation of the solidifying agent is repeated to form solidified walls on both sides of the underground structure.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1993,JPO&Japio
