PURPOSE: To output the position of a sensor point which generates density change when an object crosses as position data by detecting which sensor point generates the density change in the plural sensor points. ;CONSTITUTION: On-the sea is photographed by a video camera 1, and plural sensor points 4a-4c are set on a television screen 2. When a vessel G on the sea crosses the sensor point 4a of a north side N, the luminance signal of a sensor point 4a' is changed, the change is obtained as the density change, and an alarm signal is generated by an alarm generating means. Then, a latch means quickly holds the address data of the sensor point 4a' which generates the density change in the sensor points 4a-4c, which is generated by an address generating means, based on the generation of the alarm signal. Afterwards, a position information generating means outputs the position data of the sensor point 4a' which generates the density change based on the address data. Therefore, each kind of alarm, display, control or the like can be attained by using the position data.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1994,JPO
