PURPOSE: To provide the machining device of a printed wiring board with a machining depth adjustment mechanism for easily and positively switching the up/down movement of a cutting machining hand when performing such machining as drilling and spot facing onto a copper-clad original plate and the up/down movement of the cutting machining hand when performing milling machining by forming a printed wiring pattern using a same machining device without switching machining mechanism. ;CONSTITUTION: A fixing shaft 10 is placed vertically on a support base part 9 which is formed in one piece at a traveling column and a first mounting base 12 for sealing a spindle motor 11 and a second mounting base 15 for sealing a cutting machining hand 6 are fitted to the fixing shaft 10 so that they can slide freely up and down, thus switching the holding of the first mounting base 12 and the second mounting base 15 and that of the first mounting base 12 and the support base part 9 depending on the machining details.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1995,JPO
