PURPOSE:To connect and assemble components with high precision without causing the damage of an assembling jig due to the direct radiation of laser rays by providing a difference between the stretch sizes of the flange of one component and the flange of the other component and welding and connecting the mating sections of the flanges while both cylindrical components are kept at correct mating positions. CONSTITUTION:A difference delta is provided between the stretch sizes of flanges 51b and 61b of a lower focusing electrode 51 and an upper focusing electrode 61 respectively connected by laser welding, a laser ray beam is radiated from the direction 77 slantly inclined to the flange face by the angle theta from the outer above of the lower focusing electrode 51 with the smaller stretch at the time of welding. The core metal 71 of an assembling jig is not directly radiated by laser rays, the size error of two components to be connected can be absorbed by the gap DELTAl of the flange faces. The damage of the core metal 71 of the jig due to laser rays is thereby eliminated, both components can be assembled while the parallel precision of end faces of the electrodes are kept high.
