In the present invention there is described a method of transporting cellulose solution in aqueous N-methylmorpholine-N-oxide through a piping. The invented method is characterized in that the solution temperature expressed in Celsius degrees measured in the middle of the piping is controlled by the relationship 1000/(X + 0.19 x square root of D) and the solution temperature expressed in Celsius degrees measured on inner wall of this piping is controlled by the relationship 1000/(Y + 0.23 x square root of D), wherein D represents inside diameter of the piping expressed in mm, X represents a numerical value being equal to or greater than 5.0 and Y represents a numerical value being equal to or greater than 5.4.
