The present invention relates to a process for the plastic extrusion of a fat confectionery material, in particular a tubing box, in which the fat confectionery material is added to an extruder (10) and a flowable cross section of the substantially solid or semi-solid or non-blistered confectionery material is provided. The temperature, compression ratio, compaction rate and extrusion rate are adjusted so that the confectionery material remains extruded in the form of a solid, semi-solid or non-pelleted, thermally thermally extruded product having substantially the same cross-sectional shape as the extruder. The extruded product retains its shape and has temporary flexibility or deformability which allows it to be subjected to physical treatment, molding or plastic shaping before losing its flexibility or deformability. The essence of the process, heat, is to place the fat-containing confectionery material under vacuum before the flow cross-section narrowing. The essence of the extruded fat-containing confectionery product of the present invention is produced by the above process. ŕ
