This invention refers to a variety of potato (Solanum tuberosum L.) named Calgary, obtained by clone selection and multiplication. The offshoot is of red-violet colour at the base, the flower frequency is high; the flowers are red-violet on the inner side. The tubers are short and oval, with yellow peel and yellowish pulp, the buds are cone-shaped and at the base are medium coloured due to anthocyanin. The pubescence, at the base, is slight, the leaf is medium sized, with slightly rugose margins; the inner colour of the flower is red-violet. This variety features good resistance to nematodes Ro1 and Ro4, to Fusarium, to leaf curling virus and to insects.
