Treating excess stomach acidity comprises ingesting a dose of = 2000 mg of fava bean flour. The dose is incorporated into at least one moulded 4000 mg chewable wafer. The fava bean flour is the main active ingredient for reduction of stomach acidity. The wafer is compression moulded. The dose is incorporated into an edible product, and the fava bean flour comprises = 60 weight% of the ingredients.
