System which comprises a structure in the form of a lattice which forms elongate linear sections of material. These sections together determine free spaces, surrounding them. The sections are anchored to the river bank or embankment. The elements which form this structure comprise a central zone which can be anchored to the ground and the free ends of the arms of the elements may be connected to free ends of arms of contiguous elements.
