Facings for river banks and the like. - A facing for river banks, sea-shores, slopes, &c. consists of a metal fabric, network, or trellis in which are inserted strips of any suitable material as shown. The strips may be arranged vertically or horizontally and there may be a second layer arranged diagonally to the first.
