The invention comprises a system for assisting an organisation to implement and maintain compliance management programmes, the system comprising a plurality of modules relating to particular legislative or other obligations with which the organisation is required to comply; at least one master database containing information on said legislative or other compliance obligations; at least one slave database containing and allowing entry of information on activities of and incidents or accidents in the organisation and assessments of the organisation; and report generating means for generating a report on any action required to render the organisation compliant with the legislative or other requirements in the master database. 00000
