The invention relates to a novel method for producing 3-amino-1-phenyl-uracil derivatives of formula (I), wherein R?1, R2, R3, R4 and R5¿ have the meanings cited in the description, and in which substituted phenyloxazine-diones of formula (II) are made to react with hydrazine hydrate of formula (III): H¿2?N-NH2 .
