ZINC-DEPOSITED BASE MATERIAL FOR METALLIZED CAPACITOR AND ITS MANUFACTURE

When forming a zinc-deposited base material for metallized capacitors, a primer layer for zinc-deposition made from at least one compound selected from the group comprised of each oxide of silicon, titanium and zirconium is formed on at least one side surface of a base body comprised of a film or a thin condenser paper. Next, a zinc-deposited layer is formed on top of the primer layer. Then, a protective layer made from at least one compound selected from the group comprised of silicon-based oil, fluoro-based oil, alkylnaphthalene, polydiphenylether, fatty acids, fatty acid salts and paraffin wax is formed on top of the zinc-deposited layer. In this way, it becomes possible to form a zinc-deposited base material having excellent moisture resistance when used for metallized capacitors.
