FIELD: drying equipment. SUBSTANCE: drier has drying and cooling vertical chambers of rectangular section. Drying agent supply and discharge boxes are disposed in drying chamber and cooling air supply and discharge boxes are disposed in cooling chamber, with supply and discharge boxes extending through the whole height of shafts. Drier is further provided with ventilation equipment, delivery and distributing systems, hoppers above and below drying chambers and discharge mechanism. Supply and discharge boxes are made in the form of separate rectangular blocks mounted one above another. Each block has supply and discharge boxes made in the form of channels defined by two vertical perforated plates converging at an acute angle on both sides of block length in plan and diverging for supply and discharge boxes. Space between plates of adjacent supply and discharge boxes is adapted to be filled with material to be dried. Supply and discharge boxes are arranged in alternation at different intervals, with box halves of width equal to half the width of box being positioned at both sides. Perforations formed only in inner plates are made as recesses with convex portion oriented outside boxes and their axes being directed downward. Cylindrical drier with fluidized bed is positioned above upper drying chamber. Centrifugal and centripetal perforated funnels are positioned in upper drier.
