METHOD OF WATER-ENGINEERING RECULTIVATION OF WORKED-OUT SIDEHILL QUARRIES

FIELD: opencast mineral mining; may be used in recultivation of sidehill quarries. SUBSTANCE: method consists in layer filling of quarry zone to form hydraulic accumulating hollow, further planing of fill surface, coating of fill surface with fertile earth layer and subsequent sowing to grass. Hydraulic accumulating hollow is arranged in fill lower layer whose thickness is equal to thickness of water-bearing layer and connected with water collector for water raising. Upper layer is filled with antifriction rocks. Flow of surface water from quarrying zone is ensured by planing of fill surface. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 2 dwg
