A dialysis unit comprises two modules in a single structure. The first module contains a bundle of membrane capillaries and an inlet and outlet for the dialysate. The second module contains a bundle of membrane capillaries for the sterile filtration of the substitute, and has an inlet for the latter. The unit has a chamber where the cleansed substitute is mixed with the liquid to be treated.
