The X-ray device has the X-ray system (6) adjusted relative to the patient table, between a number of defined positions, via a setting drive (24), the X-ray images fed to an image processor (19), with an image memory (22) and a subtraction device (21), providing the difference between the masking images and the actual video images provided with an injected contrast medium for each of the different positions. The image processor is coupled to a detector (23), providing output signals controlling storage of the difference signals in the image memory and coupled to the setting drive for displacing the X-ray system into the next imaging position.
