PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a satellite control device which dispenses with the detection of the earth and the inertia by simplifying attitude control. SOLUTION: A fixed star pursuit system for use on board a satellite supplies the attitude data continuously on the basis of the defined list of fixed stars. The position reference of the sensed fixed star is presumed from the up-loaded data. The attitude is calculated only by making reference of the presumed track position and comparing the fixed star sensor data with the mission attitude, and attitude adjustment is prepared.
