PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image sensor capable of performing high-speed processing and also a satellite attitude control device which is structured in small size and light in weight, can be fabricated at a low cost, and requires a low power consumption. SOLUTION: An image input part 1 which is mounted on a satellite and takes in the image of a fixed star, a plurality of fixed star sensing parts 4 which divide the taken-in image into a plurality of sub-regions and judge existence of any fixed stars in each sub-region, and an attitude calculation part 6 which executes image processing for the sub-region where fixed star is sensed and calculates the attitude of the satellite are provided.
