PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a holding tool for an external facing material and an attaching structure using the above holding tool which, in the case where an external facing material such as a roof material is executed from a ridge toward the edge of the eaves, can firmly attach the external facing material without requiring a special metal rafter. ;SOLUTION: A holding tool is composed of a lower clip 2 fixed to the substrate 5 of a rafter or the like and an upper clip 3 to engage in an overlapped part 42 on an eaves side of an external facing material 4. The lower clip 2 has a standing up piece 22 equipped with a locked part 221 facing to the eaves side on the eaves side of a fixing part 21 to the substrate 5 and moreover the second fixing part 23 on the eaves side, and the upper clip 3 has a standing up piece 32 equipped with a locked part 321 facing to the eaves side on the eaves side of a joint part 31 fronting on the upper face of the second fixing part 23, and has an engaging part 34 to engage with the overlapped part 42 on the eaves side of the external facing material 4 in the standing up piece 32. In a state where the locking part 321 of the upper clip 3 is locked in the locked part 221 of the lower clip 2, a fixing tool 36 is fixed to the second fixing part 23 from the joint part 31 and unified.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1999,JPO
