PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric air blower and a vacuum cleaner furnishing that which improve the ventilation efficiency by reducing the ventilation loss when the air flows in an electric motor, and improve the service life by cooling the brush of the electric motor effectively. ;SOLUTION: A housing 3 is formed in about a tubular form provided with an opening at the centrifugal impeller side, and the bottom at the opposite side. The opening of the housing 3 is formed to make the distance L1 from the axial core of the rotary shaft 4 of the opening to the inner wall of the housing 3 longer than the distance L2 from the axial center of the rotary shaft 4 to the inner wall of the housing 3 in the right angle direction to a stator coil 6.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1999,JPO
