PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the cross connection information generation device of a line, which can register the materials of various specifications as those constituting the cross connection of the line. ;SOLUTION: In a step S1, a panel position on DF (wiring board) is designated. In a step S2, a panel type name and a name are designated. In a step S3, the number of blocks and the number of stages, which constitute a panel, are designated and the number of blocks is calculated. Then, a block identification name is designated. In a step S4, a cable type and cable pair identification names are designated. In a step S5, the number of cable pairs terminated per block, the number of combination pairs by (n) to one group, the arranging rule of the blocks and the bestowal start numbers of cables are designated. In a step S6, block identification numbers (master/slave numbers) and a physical position number on DF are generated based on above input values. In a step S7, cable pair identification numbers (master/slave numbers) and the physical position number on DF are generated.
