PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To cope with the lot control, validation, etc., of the entire process and to reduce the cost of the entire system to produce a product by measuring the amt of a liq. mixture charged into a basket, the amt. of the separated liq. component, etc., with high precision and to avoid the operational trouble due to the excess retention in the basket. ;SOLUTION: When this centrifugal dehydrator 1 for separating a solid-liq. mixture into the solid component and liq. component is operated, one batch of the liq. mixture is discharged into a measuring tank 4 from an original liq. tank 2, the weight of one batch of the liq. mixture is measured, the liq. mixture is charged into the dehydrator 1 and separated into the solid component and liq. component, the separated liq. component is weighed, and the retention in the dehydrator 1 is calculated from the difference between the measured values before and after the separation.
