A method of controlling the speed of a centrifugal dehydrator and a centrifugal concentrator is provided to accurately control the speed by directly feeding a command from a PLC to an inverter. The resistance of a sludge, which is inserted into a centrifugal dehydrator and a centrifugal concentrator, is detected. The resistance is converted to an analog signal through a variable resistor converter. The analog signal is converted to a digital signal through a DC/pulse converter. An operation command for the centrifugal dehydrator and the centrifugal concentrator is received by using a touch screen input device. A PLC(Programmable Logic Controller) compares the digital signal with the operation command. The compared result is delivered to the inverter, so that the rotation speed of a motor is controlled. The PLC compares the load current of the motor with an input signal from the touch screen device and directly delivers the compared result to the inverter.
