PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase a speed by restraining impact generated at starting and stopping time small when a table is rectilinearly moved. ;SOLUTION: A moving speed of a rack gear is controlled by optionally changing a radial distance of a rolling contact point on a pitch curve of a noncircular gear 6 and a curved rack gear 7. A starting and stopping time of a movement, a radius of the contact point is shortened, and it is started to move and stopped in a low speed condition. A central part of the gear is moved at a high speed by lengthening a radius of the contact point. Since a difference in a radius during this time is connected by a curve of a sine system, a speed gradually changes, and a smooth movement is obtained. The speed is increased by adopting such a speed control method, and time of a single operation stroke is shortened.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1999,JPO
