PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To generate only a force and a moment required by a user by moving by a control apparatus a force and moment generation weight to a position set in an up-down direction. ;SOLUTION: A 6 component-of-force force/moment-correcting machine is constituted of a trunk body, a force generation apparatus, a moment generation apparatus, a force and moment transmission apparatus 8 and a control apparatus 20. The force generation apparatus comprises a force generation weight 21, the force/moment transmission apparatus 8, a pulley 9 and the control apparatus 20, generating a pure force. The moment generation apparatus comprises a moment generation weight 22, etc., generating a pure moment. The force/moment transmission apparatus 8 mounted to a multi component of force load cell 19 transmits a force and a moment generated from the force generation apparatus and moment generation apparatus to the multicomponent-of-force load cell 19. The control apparatus 20 moves the force and moment generation weights 21, 22 to a position set in an up-down direction. Only a force and a moment required by a user can thus be generated with the use of the simple force generation apparatus and moment generation apparatus.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1999,JPO
