METHOD AND DEVICE FOR EXTRACTING INTER-TASK INTERFACE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically extract an inter-task interface for analyzing a program. ;SOLUTION: A cell relation between modules (functions) is extracted as shown in a figure A, and module groups A1, A2,... and module groups B1, B2,... started with a module not called from anywhere, are judged as tasks and extracted. Next, a common area accessed from the module group of each task is extracted. Then, the access relation of tasks is obtained and an inter-task interface is extracted as shown in a figure B. Besides, variables data1, data2,... in the common area accessed between the respective tasks are extracted, and among external variables commonly used between the respective tasks, any variable to which volatile declaration is not applied is pointed out and displayed.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1999,JPO
