WATER-BASE INK RECORDING METHOD, AND TRANSFER SHEET FOR WATER-BASE INK RECORDING

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form an image having an image quality without bleeding, and fastness on special purpose papers especially such as a postal card by this water-base ink recording method. ;SOLUTION: For this recording method, a transfer sheet for water-base ink recording wherein an ink receiving layer which starts having a separating property by a liquid absorption of a water-base ink, is provided on a base material, is used, and on the receiving layer of the transfer sheet, an image of the water-base ink wherein the major components are a coloring agent which disperses or is dissolved with water, water and a lubricant, is adhered, and then, the ink receiving layer to which the image is adhered and a medium to be recorded are brought into contact with and press-bonded. By this method, the ink receiving layer is separated from the base material, and the image together with the receiving layer is transferred onto the medium to be recorded, and at the same time, tackiness is manifested on the ink receiving layer by the liquid absorption of the water-base ink.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1999,JPO
