PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect the abnormality of a pressure detector when a pressure detector fails to output an actual steam pressure. ;SOLUTION: In a boiler which is designed to detect the pressure of steam generated thereby to control the operation according to the steam pressure detected, an abnormality detector 3 of the pressure detector is provided to compare pressure values of the steam to be outputted from the pressure detector 1 before and after a specified time passes and produces an output of abnormality in the pressure detector 1 when no change is found in the steam pressure value.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1999,JPO
