PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high-speed scanning data processing unit that continuously prints out an original read from an image scanner quickly without going through a work station. SOLUTION: A print memory device 13 is provided with a variable addressing memory 14 that has a function of receiving image information from an image scanner 2 and exchanging the row and column addresses, a memory selector switch 16, through which the image information from the variable addressing memory 14 is selectively fed to a large capacity memory 17 or a print memory selected switch 18 for each page, and a print memory selection switch 18 through which the image information form the large capacity memory 17 of the memory selections witch 16 is fed to any of print memories 19.
