PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water supply unit having a single storage water heater body and two water channels in which the time required for boiling up bath water is shortened while preventing high temperature hot water supply due to single operation on the side other than the hot water supply side, e.g. single operation of additional burning. ;SOLUTION: When the hot water temperature on the delivery side of a hot water supply heat exchanger exceeds an off temperature during single operation of additional burning, a single operation of additional burning control section 45 stops combustion of a burner and resumes combustion when the hot water temperature drops below the off temperature. A safety allowable temperature is set between the off temperature and the boiling temperature of hot water in the hot water supply heat exchanger. A temperature comparing section 48 takes in the hot water temperature of the hot water supply heat exchanger detected in the burner combustion stopping interval during single operation of additional burning and compares the peak temperature thereof with the safety allowable temperature. Based on the comparison results, a temperature data variable setting section 46 sets an off temperature and an on temperature variably in the increasing direction as the temperature difference between the peak temperature and the safety allowable temperature increases.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1999,JPO
