PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the method and device for dry-crushing a solid by which a pulver ized product is obtained with good energy efficiency and in an environmentally accept able manner. SOLUTION: A solid is coarsely crushed in the controlled vortex of a fluidized bed by this method and device, the solid fine particles are mostly directed upward toward a spiral crushing zone, a part of the particles are passed through the spiral crushing zone, and the solid particles directed upward are crushed in the spiral crushing zone. The spiral crushing zone includes at least one crushing stage 11 and 12 vertically arranged in succession, the grains are passed upward through at least one horizontal spiral zone of the annular gap specified by the stationary plate having a circular aperture in the stage 11 and 12, the coarse particles are then separated by the gravity separation in a centrifugal exhaust fan, hence the product mixture moving upward is purified, and the remainder of the upward particles are exposed to the vertical vortex of a rotary semipermeable means specified by a rotary assembly including a large-mesh screen.
