PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mimic feces excellent in stability of hemoglobin, manufacturable at low cost and free from maldoor by including hemoglobin and a hemoglobin stabilizer in a matrix consisting of fishing assorted feed, grain powder and sugar. ;SOLUTION: This mimic feces is manufactured by including hemoglobin and a hemoglobin stabilizer in a matrix consisting of easily available odorless natural materials. Namely, a matrix obtained by adding a proper amount of water to the combination of fishing assorted feed, grain powder and sugar approximates to feces including color tone, mixing ratio of undigested excretions and surface gloss, and various feces can be reproduced only by slightly changing the mixing of each component. This mimic feces faithfully simulates the appearance and physical properties of feces, and the feeling of piercing a feces collecting bar also approximates the feces. Since the included hemoglobin is stabilized by the hemoglobin stabilizer, this mimic feces is storable in a long term and suitable for educational training teaching materials for handling of feces collecting equipments.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1998,JPO
