PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To always display a specified message as a message in a waiting state. ;SOLUTION: A receiver receives a radio selection call signal containing the message and stores the received message in RAM 10. In such a case, CPU 4, an LCD driving circuit 8 and LCD 9 are provided as means for always displaying the content of the message in a waiting state when the message containing a specified character string is stored in RAM 10 in a regular waiting state after the display operation of the received message and a display operation with an additional function terminate with the lapse of prescribed time.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1998,JPO
