PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plural instruction parallel issue/execution managing device in which a circuit scale can be reduced by simplifying a circuit constitution without using a comparator, and power consumption can be reduced. ;SOLUTION: This device is provided with a forward map buffer 1210 for storing forward map information indicating which instruction uses a result value generated at the time of the end of the execution of a prescribed instruction as an input operand, which is mounted on a super scalar type processor for issuing plural instructions dynamically and in parallel, and executing them in parallel. The forward map buffer 1210 preliminarily stores the forward map information corresponding to the result value before a prescribed result value is actually generated. When the result value is actually generated, the input operand using the result value is specified by using the forward map information corresponding to the preliminarily stored result value.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1998,JPO
