PURPOSE:To prevent a vehicular coated surface from fouling and provide glazing effects by treating the coated surface with a wax component having a high acid value. CONSTITUTION:A vehicular coated surface is treated with a treating agent prepared by mixing (A) a wax component (preferred examples; stearic, palmitic and myristic acids), containing a fatty acid (derivative thereof) of a high acid value which is preferably a solid at ordinary temperature and having =120 acid value thereof with (B) a solvent consisting of a petroleum-based solvent, such as preferably n-paraffin or isoparaffin. Furthermore, the blending ratio of the components (A) to (B) is 2-30wt.% (preferably 5-10wt.%) component (A) and 70-98wt.% (preferably 90-95wt.%)component (B).
