"COMPOSITION FOR SKIN CARE, AND, COSMETIC SKIN CONDITIONING AND SKIN CONDITIONING PROCESSES BY MIMETIZING THE RETINOIC ACID EFFECT". Compounds that sufficiently inhibit the esterification catalyzed by LRAT or ARAT of retinol in inactive retinyl esters, have the same effect on keratinocytes as retinoic acid. Thus, the effects of retinol or retinyl esters in combination with these compounds are analogous to treatment with retinoic acid.
