The compression chamber is connected to the atmosphere via a valve (7) located in the piston head (8). The valve is lifted by a cam (9) fastened to the eye (11) of a connecting rod (5). The valve has a shaft and a plate, which is pressed by a compression spring against a valve seat with bores in the piston head. The spring supports itself against the piston head and against a spring plate fastened to the valve shaft.
