The present invention relates to a pharmaceutical composition for the treatment of such motor disturbances comprising an amount of an AMPA receptor antagonist and a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier effective in treating an exercise disorder associated with dopamine agonist therapy. The dopamine agonist therapy as described herein is generally used for the treatment of central nervous system disorders such as Parkinson's disease.
