Modified molecular weight imide oligomers and co-oligomers (PEPI) end-capped with a non-reactive or reactive group, including phenylethynyl appendages, are amides, which are end capped with unreactive or reactive groups, including phenylethynyl appendages An acid oligomer or a co-oligomer.
