FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves taking venous blood and separating leukocyte cells. Centrifuging being done, two leukocyte subpopulations are produced (neutrophiles and mononuclears). Life capacity of nuclear cells and their number are determined. Spontaneous adhesion index (SAI) is calculated from formula: SAI=Kk- Knadh /Kk*100%, where Kk is the neutrophiles number before incubation and Knadh is the neutrophiles number after incubation. Spontaneous adhesion indices being equal to 53.75% ± 3.48, neurodermitis prevalence is considered to be the case. Spontaneous adhesion index value being lowered to 29.18 ± 1.83, eczema prevalence is considered to be the case. EFFECT: enhanced accuracy of diagnosis; accelerated diagnostic method. 1 tbl
