To simulate the mass of the vehicle, a setting value (FGMsoll) is applied to a roller drive, which is determined by multiplying the tractive force (FPKW) of the vehicle by a percentage of the centrifugal mass which is to be electrically simulated. This tractive force is composed from the actual acceleration (aist) multiplied by the mechanical mass (mmech) and the actual electrically obtained tractive force (FGMist) of an electric drive for an exact simulation. The tractive force is multiplied by the percentage fraction of the electric mass to the simulated momentum mass.
