Power regulator for adjusting the power of the electrical consumers of an electrical appliance

The power controller is used in an electrical appliance which is connected to at least two phases of a three-phase supply. At least one of the hotplates can be selectively connected to the phase voltage (e.g. 230 V) or to the delta voltage (e.g. 400 V). For high power levels (e.g. when starting to boil or frying), the hotplate resistance (30) can connected to the delta voltage continuously. For lower power levels (e.g. when continuing to boil or keeping warm), the resistance can be connected to the phase voltage (e.g. N-L2) and switched by a bimetallic strip.
